Prefabricated Steel Structure Warehouse Shipped to CAR
Recently, a batch of prefabricated steel structure warehouse components custom-manufactured by Truseen Machinery has been packed and containerized for shipment. The cargo will be transported via sea freight with transshipment to the Central African Republic for use in local engineering projects.
The production of these prefabricated steel structures starts with drawings: 3D modeling and fabrication drawing design are completed in accordance with project requirements. After raw materials arrive at the factory, material inspection is mandatory. Only qualified steel plates and section steel can be delivered to the workshop, where cutting, beveling and drilling are performed by CNC laser and plasma equipment. Visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) are carried out on all welded joints to guarantee compliance with welding quality standards. After mechanical machining, the prefabricated components go through rust removal to eliminate rust, scale and welding slag, improving paint adhesion. Tailored anti-corrosion coating is applied to the prefabricated components to adapt to the tropical and rainy climate of the Central African Republic. Primer and topcoat are sprayed in separate layers with strict control over film thickness. Once all fabrication work is finished, full pre-assembly is conducted on-site at our factory to recheck dimensions and the alignment accuracy of bolt holes, ensuring smooth assembly. Each component is marked with a unique identification number to verify the correct quantity of parts.
The adverse factors for the infrastructure project in the Central African Republic include frequent rainy seasons during this period and a shortage of local skilled workers. Traditional cast-in-situ construction on site is difficult to execute, with uncontrollable construction schedules. For the prefabricated steel structure solution, most fabrication processes are completed in factories in China. The components feature standardization and high precision. On-site assembly is just like “building blocks”, which enables simple construction and low operation & maintenance costs. This solution perfectly matches the local infrastructure requirements.
